Swapped us to a different trailer hours before pickup with less beds and amenities. Communication prior to that day was awful. Fridge broke on day 2/3 and we lost all our food. Then charged us $ on our deposit with no reason given after telling my husband everything was good at drop off

Let me start off by saying I thought I was renting someone's personal trailer, but instead I ended up renting from a dealer. The whole experience was a nightmare! Starting with the fact that the dealer doesn't offer insurance through outdoorsy so I had to get the insurance through the dealer so that was an extra $100. Then upon pickup we were provided a generator with the trailer and an anti-sway hitch, both of which there is an extra fee for but that isn't disclosed until after everything is hooked up to your vehicle. After getting the toy hauler home, we find out that the fridge/freezer do not run off propane but instead runs off 12v battery, a battery that wouldn't charge over 9.5v so it wouldn't even run the fridge so we had to take tons of coolers and ice with us u til we could get the trailer setup on the generator. Fast forward to getting to our campsite, we get the trailer setup, get the generator setup and find that the generator (that we were charged for) isn't powerful enough to run the fridge/freezer and the AC at the same time. Not to mention the generator itself sounded like it was ready to blow up the entire time it was running and it just blew through fuel. I messaged the owner or whoever I was being contacted by after I initially setup the rental and got nothing but excuses and no accountability was taken. The best part is, they didn't even give me the correct trailer, sadly I didn't realize it until I got it home and did some further research from my booking. I feel like I was completely dooped. My family anf I ended up sleeping in tents on air mattresses because the beds were awful in the trailer and we had no ac. After it was all said and done, we pretty much paid $700 for toilet since that is basically all we could use in the trailer. I really wish I had known this was a dealer and not a sole owner rental, had I known that I would ha e looked up reviews and saved myself alot of money and the headache.

Trailer jacks were broken. Tv mount was broken and sink drain was not hocked to sink so when we turned it on it went straight to the floor. No sway bar and trailer went all over the road
